How well can you recognize celebrities by only looking at their eyes? Find out -- it's harder than you think!
A friend of mine, Mad Samurai, had this idea for an app where you would guess an MMA fighter's name just by looking at a picture of his eyes after a fight. That's not quite how the game ended up (just try finding that many licensable images), but that's the inspiration.
Test your celebrity knowledge, and download Samurai's idea from Google Play. It won't kill you. But Samurai literally tried to kill me with a chili and cheese dog just as we were wrapping things up on this game. True story.
How to Play
To start playing, choose a category of eyes to view, and then select a puzzle number to begin playing. A pair of eyes will be shown to you, and you need to guess who those eyes belong to. Use the letters in the bottom part of the screen to spell out who you think it is. If you get stuck, you can use hints to either remove incorrect letters from the puzzle or enter correct letters.
Availability
This, That & the Other was built with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and Adobe Photoshop. It's available through Google Play for Android devices. It's no longer being actively maintained.

Scope and application
This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "The Eyes Have It" ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by Nought Eight Labs. The Application is a photo-based, celebrity name-guessing game.
User-provided Information
No user-provided information is required to run the Application, and no information is sent to Nought Eight Labs. Your usage of the Application and all information remains on your mobile device only, and is used solely to keep track of your hint balance, puzzle status, and puzzle unlocks. It is never transmitted nor shared with Nought Eight Labs or any third parties.
Location
This Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.
Third-party Access to Information
In-application purchases connect you directly with Google Play, and all transactions are recorded between you and Google Play. None of your payment information is sent to Nought Eight Labs or any third parties. No other data of any kind is shared with third parties.
Automatically Collected Information
No data is collected automatically by the Application.
Disclosure of Information
Our policy is to only disclose data:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
The application will retain User Provided data for only as long as you use the Application, and only directly on your mobile device. Nought Eight does not have access to this data. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at help@08labs.com. We will delete such information from our files.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via Application message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
If Nought Eight Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via Application message and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
