If you're a lover of Android Wear and analog-style watches, you've probably noticed something about the available watch faces: many of them are hard to read. I can't tell you how many times I've raised my watch to look at the time, put my hand down, and raised it again because I didn't digest the time on the first try. Clarity was made for folks who want configurability in an uncluttered, traditionally-styled, readable watch face.
Clarity was designed with a high-contrast palette and bright, bold hands to make a watch instantly readable. For classic analog lovers, choose to view only tick marks as hour and minute indicators; for contemporary analog fans, choose whether major hours, minor hours, or minute markings appear on the face. You can also choose the accent color and hand style of your watch face, including thinner, contemporary hands, or slab-like hands designed for legibility. A digital time mode is available at a tap if you want to instantly improve readability further.
Clarity Watch Face is 100% free: there is no cost to purchase, no in-app purchases, no ads, no data collection.
Availability
Clarity was built with the Android SDK and Wear 1.0 SDK. It's no longer being actively maintained, and its availability is limited to older Wear OS devices.

Scope and application
This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "Clarity Watch Face" ("Application") for mobile and wearable devices that was created by Nought Eight Labs. The Application is a watch face for Android Wear devices, supported by a mobile companion app used to configure the watch face.
User-provided Information
No user-provided information is required to run the Application, and no information is sent to Nought Eight Labs. Your usage of the Application and all information remains on your mobile and wearable devices only, and is used only to customize the display of your watch face. It is never transmitted nor shared with Nought Eight Labs or any third parties.
Location
This Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile or wearable device.
Third-party Access to Information
No data is shared with third parties.
Automatically Collected Information
No data is collected automatically by the Application.
Disclosure of Information
Our policy is to only disclose data:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Because Nought Eight collects no data via the Application, there is no data to disclose.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
The application will retain User Provided data for only as long as you use the Application, and only directly on your mobile device. Nought Eight does not have access to this data. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at help@08labs.com. We will delete such information from our files.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via Application message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
If Nought Eight Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via Application message and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
